COVID-19: Protecting Yourself

Wash your hands frequently and well. Use soap and water, rub your hands together, including the backs, between the fingers, thumbs, and wrists, for 30 seconds (hum the Jeopardy song).
If you are sick, stay home and call your doctor. Most persons who become infected will develop a mild case and can be treated at home.
If you must go to the grocery store or pharmacy, wash your hands and the items you bring home (except no soap on your fresh produce, just warm water). Remove items from their original cardboard boxes and use from the bags (like cereal and crackers) and carefully wash any plastic bags or containers (the outside of a milk jug or packaged bread)
Stay 6 feet away from anyone who isn’t in your immediate family. Make and wear a mask. And stay well.
